Bo/Gar Enterprises is being nominated for the Business Leadership Award for 2022 due to their ongoing collaboration and investment in workforce. Bo/Gar Enterprises has been growing and have expanded their capabilities by purchasing new equipment. Career Link has partnered with Bo/Gar Enterprises to upskill their workforce to cross train on the new machines. This has allowed Bo/Gar Enterprises to expand into new markets that were not previously available.
Bo/Gar Enterprises continues to add onto their workforce, to help support the community they reside in. Bo/Gar Enterprises appreciates the assistance that both Career Link and WIOA has provided to their business. The Incumbent Worker Training program has made it possible to reimburse the training costs of employees with the company to stay competitive in their industry. Bo/Gar Enterprises was aware that their employees needed more training, but had struggled to pay for the training costs on top of the costs of lost production at the same time.
Career Link funding has been a great value by allowing the company to train our workers while getting reimbursed. Bo/Gar Enterprises remains committed to their workforce, training of their employees, and growing the company to continue to provide livable wages for their workers. In addition, Bo/Gar has taken on an additional role with our local area…serving as a worksite for our Work Experience program. We truly appreciate their commitment!
