Chris started the process of obtaining a career scholarship after he was laid off from Gallup. He was a Business Development Consultant/Business Development Consultant.
As a Senior Education/Business Development Consultant, he propelled Gallup’s education consulting services and product sales, including Clifton Strengths for Students and workplace solutions. Using Gallup’s research and analytics, he helped education leaders understand their climate, differentiate their school from other institutions and create a student experience that results in lifetime successes. So, he knew the value of an education and wanted to take this time to add certifications to his resume.
Chris thoroughly enjoyed the one-week, career-certified program to help provide assistance in job search, resume assistance, and cognitive testing. After doing his research he decided on attending Microtrain Technologies. Microtrain offered the certifications he needed to help him land his next job. Through Microtrain he achieved five new certifications: SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, Amazon AWS-Certified Cloud Practitioner, Leading SAFe 5 Certificate, AS SIX SIGMA GREEN BELT, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals.
While applying the knowledge and skills he obtained throughout the Will County program, he was able to find employment at National Able as an Education Consultant. He can now help motivate and challenge the next person who is looking to jump start and sustain their career because he has gone through the process himself.
